MOCK UP HELP!

SO... I am having trouble with the mockups. I did my project in Indesign and am trying to find a way to transfer it into photoshop and have it look crisp and clear. I have tried converting it into PDFs (interactive, and print version), JPEGs, PNGs, EPS, all with high resolution (300ppi, at one point 600ppi), and I even converted all text to outlines. It keeps coming out blurry.. I don't know if you can tell from this post. If you can't tell, than I am hoping its just my monitor.

Kyle and Siobhan I know you've done a few mock ups, so if you know a good way to do this, or if im doing something wrong, let me know!! Thanks

This project was originally to use the golden rectangle in making a poster about a typeface.

This one was to create a layout for a typeface that included
numbers and the alphabet in that typeface. I made mine look like a page from an old book.

My problem is that I don't know witch one to use and witch on to can. Also what can I do to improve one or the other.

Authors Poster

Hi class,

This is the list poster I created for Typography Hierarchy. I touched up the original version (the first one) and felt that the grid structure wasn't at all engaging enough. I then started playing with a slanted grid and sort of fell in love with the way it looked after that. I want your opinions on it. Do you feel that it is too much? Are there any other elements to the design that I should work on?

Recipe: Fold down

Front and Back.
The recipe was provided and the goal was to create the idea of the recipe into the entire design with the use of color. This one can fold down if needed and I also have another piece that I will use as a page in a magazine.

Design History - Movie Poster

Hi Everyone

This movie poster is from Design History and we had to choose a style that would represent the time setting of the movie. I did this project over completely, originally I was not including it in my portfolio. There is some minor things I need to add but this is close to be finished. Please let me know what you think.

Chicago Poster Mockup

Hi everyone,

I made a mockup of my Chicago poster for my portfolio. I consider the poster itself done, I'm just wondering what you guys think of the digital mockup. Should the bricks stay or go? Maybe scale them in so that the poster looks bigger? Thanks!

note: the project itself was to take a popular movie and make a poster from a specific art style. I chose to imitate Saul Bass's style, and the content was inspired by the iconic Cell Block Tango scene in the movie.

New Orleans Infographic

Hi guys, here is my next piece. It is an info graphic, column graph, of information regarding the rebuilding progress in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. As many of us know, New Orleans is known for its live culture and people, infused by music... my target audience was specifically directed to middle age women who were jazz music enthusiasts from New Orleans.

When I came up with the idea of using a trumpet as the base for a column graph I thought it was a great, clever idea. I really like this piece and I think it is a strong concept but I feel like its not completely there, I feel like its a bit busy and just not the best it could be.

I plan on recreating the trumpet (this is a live trace) and using a very similar pattern and colors but as is it seems too hectic so I need to find a happy medium!
