I made some minor changes in spacing and added negative space in between the contents .

Chris - this style guide seems very much done, in terms of page layout, etc. However, I'm wondering whether your back cover looks like a back cover. This is a 12-page booklet, and so the "brochure design" content is sitting on the outside back cover. Is this really what you want? I'm not sure what the solution would be, or if you even see this as a problem. As a publication designer I very much view the front cover as an introduction to the piece, and the back cover as a conclusion. This project seems to end in mid-sentence. What content should be on the back cover? Hmmm... well, maybe contact info for yourself, or just an image? That, of course, means you would need to drop the brochure from being included in the style guide. Maybe that's ok because you'll be including both in your portfolio... I suspect they will be viewed as companion pieces for your portfolio, never to be shown separately.
ReplyDeletethanks coni but im not sure if i need a back cover because for this project i had a black back cover and a acetate cover on the front with comb binding. i thought about adding the logo but it leaves me with a empty page and a black back cover.
