Here is what I got for my branding. I need help choosing a color. Im stuck between either bright red, cobalt blue, or teal . Let me know what you think
Hi Maria, I absolutely love the M in your logo and I think having it just bleed off the circle gives it great interest. I am not sure I am completely sold on your other choice of type in your logo, something about the typewriter typeface doesn't fit in well in my opinion.
Initially when thinking about the colors, I immediately thought about going with the teal but then I looked at the red and I thought that really stood out. I think a lot of graphic designers choose shades of blues and teals so I think I'm going to go with red on this one! I also feel like when comparing the red and the teal, if I didn't know you and I just had to base my opinion of you as an artist by your logo, I would think the red would come across as more professional and high-end. Hope this helps!
Maria, Red... for sure! It pops, and will help this be memorable. I think the font combination can work, especially if you are bold with the color... it's an unusual font pairing, but I do think it's important to use a contemporary font with the script-like M... so your work is perceived as being contemporary. David Carson helped to popularize the font Typewriter, and so it is still seen as young/youthful/energetic/retro (just a bit).
I am so glad you decided to go with the red! It makes more of an impact than the other color options, standing out and adding excitement to the logo. We have talked an awful lot about your self branding, and it looks beautiful! Great job!
